Imagine being trained for a job for many years. When you have completed your
training you are sent out to sell your product. The instructions you are given are
not  to take any money or food or  extra clothes. Then you have to find people
that you can stay with. This is what happened to the disciples when Jesus sent
them out.

The disciples were trained for their ministry by Jesus he taught them everything
he knew. Imagine being taught by Jesus how  much we could learn in such a short
time. We all have that preparation time in our lives when we are being trained,
whether it be for ministry or a job. Before we can perform we need to know what
we are doing.  That is why it is important to know the bible and study God's word.
When we read God's word we know about God and his character. The bible also
helps us to increase our faith. When we know the promises of God we are able to
overcome. When we know what Jesus did at the cross we understand that it was
finished and we can have victory over anything in our life. Because our  faith is
completely in Christ and not in what we do.

Jesus called out his disciples and told them they were ready to go out. He had
given them the authority to heal the sick, cast out demons. He also gave them
specific instructions on what to preach and who to preach too. He told them to
preach to the lost and tell them the kingdom of heaven is near. He told them that
freely that had received and freely they were supposed to give. They were not to
take any gold silver or copper or no extra shoes or sandals. He told then to stay
were they were welcome and to leave a town when they were not.
In order for the disciples to go out with no money or food or clothes that had to
trust Jesus. They had the faith to know that they would be okay. When we know
what we are called to do we walk in faith and do it.  I believe that is why Jesus

told the disciples to take nothing with them. He wanted them to depend on Him.
He works in the same way in us,so in faith we to will go.
